Ways I destress (or not)--

*tear out used planner pages. All of the unchecked boxes scare me. It isn't that I'm not doing my work, I'm just not writing it all down and am trying to remember too many things and do lots of things at the last minute. I'm not sure if writing tasks down or trying to remember them all stresses me out more.

*listen to Death Cab For Cutie. Or anything. I picked this because I haven't heard the newest album yet. It's good but the pacing is kind of frantic and it's making me feel a little uneasy.

*get in a small, compact space. I currently live with my boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law, but her mom is coming and being there would be kind of awkward, so I'm staying with my boyfriend and his family. I get the tiny room with the water-heater and deep-freeze and the jarred and canned stuff and the black-out curtains. I like it, even if I am crowded in by packed food on all sides. I'm just another orange in a box. This is the quietest and darkest room, so I like being back here, but there are a lot of internal sounds that are mixing together and I am trying not to think about that right now and hopefully my noise machine will block it all out.
